They said it was not worth it and to get JUICE BOX or VISHNU Tuning's tune. I was stunned. lol So it looks like I will be going with Juice Box.

I just though I would post and let you guys know what my dealer said who are Dinan Reps.

anyways, i was at burger king today and i tried ordering a whopper but they told me that it tastes like shit and that im better off going to mcdonalds and getting a big mac.

Its NOT under warranty either. When the car is finished he said that the head tech has to sign the paper to keep the warranty and it DOESNT have to signed. They are not obligated to do so. Can anyone verify this?

Im really good friends with the service adviser so I bet that had something to do with it also.

He has a 335 with procede and he said its great because when ever he needs service it comes out in about 15 mintues. Also stated, "Completely Undetectable."

Im just as shocked as you guys are to hear this. I was ready to put down 4K for the Dinan package TODAY and walked out ready to order the JB.

no the rep at the dealer felt the need to have another person purchase a similar product to further justify his purchase. in the end once the dealership voids both of their warranties and the rep at the dealership moves on to work at a kia dealership he will come and post back here crying about not having a warranty

why on earth ANYBODY would believe any individual who works at a stealership is beyond me....my rep tried to tell me the car was a single turbo rated @ 360hp...

the techs working on these cars?? 18 year olds...sorry stealership is not who i would ever take advice from...

my point is its good you decided on JB or Proceed, whichever route you end up taking...but PLEASE dont EVER take the word of anybody who works at a dealership...

if you knew what kind of turnover dealerships have, and what they are made to do for goals/quotas...

Sorry, I have 4 friends (2 of which are GMs in VA) who work at dealerships....and I've seen the kind of stuff they try to pass off on people...lol

The parts guy doesn't get a cut of the Dinan profits, he just works hourly. Pretty funny though! I ship a lot of JB2's to dealers, I always assumed it was so they could send them back to Germany and sue me. I guess a few of them wind up in use.

uuuhhh to be honest being a toyota tech i have told many customers who are inquiring about TRD superchargers ETC to go else where, but that's because the TRD supercharger kit SUCKS! it's around 3.5k-4k and will get you a whopping 200whp on your TC...... shitty. i just don't like customers paying a shit load of money for a "performance mod" that really isn't worth the money.

also with TRD kit's i personally have to send away warranty and vehicle info to toyota if it doesn't get sent or i don't approve it doesn't get a warranty.

I finally got a 335xi. Took a while but was worth it. Im taking it to graphix zone to get tinted tom. Then getting that sub put back in on Monday. If you have time this weekend can you drive me in your car with the procede just to see whats its like since I have not been in a procede car?

Ill be calling the shop tom to place an order. Ill be getting a baseline dyno tues and then another dyno with the JB. I have an XI car so im sure you will want the graphs.

+1 and the guy that said Techs are a stroke is an idiot. So what are the techs only good for him when somethings wrong with his car? lol Ironic.

I dont really see anything wrong with what they told me at the dealership but I just wasnt prepared for that response I guess.
