After informing them it was available, I have an appointment this coming Tuesday to get the dinan reflash. Looking very much forward to it.

So if anybody local wants to do some pulls after that...let me know.

PS - I was at the Hyde Park Kroger yesterday around 4:45pm and saw a blue 335i sedan in the parking lot. Anyone here?????

Can you ask what happens if your ECU needs an update from BMW, does the Dinan software get overwritten? If so will they put it back on for free?

It's ALOT different. The power is there...but you have to mash the pedal to get to it.

With the proced you hit the gas and like 2 seconds later you really feeel it kick in. With the dinan you hit the gas it's it's just more linear...smoother acceleration.

I can't really tell if one is faster than the other...but the way it delivers power is very noticeable.

The fastest I've gone so far was 145mph (both with procede and with dinan) and to be honest it was fast getting there with both.

My goal is to see if they really did remove the speed limiter with dinan....

will let you know when that happens...

This is good news. I just placed an order with the BMW store for a crimson red/black 6 Speed 335i coupe. I was pleased with the stock performance so the Dinan flash should sweeten the deal. My understanding is that for an 08 the box has to be sent to Dinan, correct?

yup, they don't have the same setup for 08. You gotta send it out and let them deal with it.

Probably not on the Bluegrass membership. Building a house right now and need to sink all available funds into that.
