M Double Spoke 194 18" Alloys?
Hi guys, been a while since I've been on this thread; but I'm back now as I'm ready to start my project; 1 step at a time though (evidently not the cheapest of projects).
I was wondering if its possible to get the 'm double spoke 194' alloy in 18"?, I currently have them in 17, but looking to get 18 as I want to fill the arch a bit more, I seriously hate large gaps in the arch, doesn't make the car appear 'fuller' - like a 6'2 person with size 5 feet (no offence if thats case with anyone here lol) Here's a picture of my car below... (the gap doesn't look that big in the pic', but whenever I'm up close I feel like its huge; regardless I still want it to appear 'more alloy than tyre' (low profile). If not, has anyone got a suggestion as to what 18" inch alloy I can get, that's similar to mine? as I know trying to get officials BMW alloy cost 2 arms, 2 legs & half your head. |

My local area and the other places I tend to drive in have speed bumps everywhere, or some drive-in ramps that are quite steep; that has left a nasty scratches underneath front bumper on 2 occasions. So whenever I see a ramp the bumper can't clear, I stay well clear & just park alongside the road.
...but yeah I think the car is as low as it can get for me in regards to my circumstance, so lowering it further would be crazy. In regards to the refurb how much would that cost? & I'd want to keep them silver, or a more shiny silver. (would go well together with a glossy white wrap?) & I can add spacers to my list too; cheers. |

I see
Even when mines looked how it did i loved the shape of the wheel but just couldnt hide the fact that 17" was too small I think you know you want 18's deep down. Im currently running 18's at standard height as i also got sick of being too low The locigal step to me as you like your car original it seems is some bmw mv3's |

A guy who lives a few doors down from me had those alloys. They're good, but my car would end up looking like his (just like the pic' ^ above, same colour & everything), but like you said it would retain the cars' original appearance in some way. Most likely get em in future, as they're probably the only 18s I'd end liking & that I can afford.
How much that custom plate cost, if you don't mind me asking? Looking to get '5 characters' w/ short plate too - but I do like yours, probably cos of the letter/nos choices. From a graphic designer's perspective; they're spot on. Cheers for that mate. |
