Dyno Results PROcede V2 100%tq - 100 octane

My car is equip with... Procede V2 2.0.2 - New Firmware and map 12_19. I bumped the tq to 100% and had approx 20 miles to drive it to adapt before the dyno. I have Borla Catback...NO INTAKE YET... Below are the results and graph... I think maybe with an intake and time for the PROcede to adapt to the new tq setting, my numbers will slightly improve...

Here are the results. 3 runs

Horsepwr Torque
1st) 363.95 417.25
2nd) 349.63 424.42
3rd) 370.64 439.65 <<<<BEST RUN>>>

Terry, thanks for your help bro
Driver72, thanks again for your help as usual. I left the back bolt out like you suggested...

Wow look at those torque numbers. HP is right inline I think with the general concensus.

If only it would produce those #'s on 91 octane.

I don't mean to sound like an ass, but I would have expected the hp numbers to be in the 400whp range, especially on race gas and 100% values.

And the hp seems to drop significantly after 6000rpm.

Thanks for taking the time to do this.

NPDAN-- When you say you drove it for 20 miles to let it adapt, how did you drive it? The reason I ask is because it looks like the car was still adapting on the dyno with the last run making the most power and torque. To accelerate adapting on the street, all you need to do is 5 or 6 3rd gear pulls (from 2000rpm to 7000rpm). Simply driving it around casually doesn't give the ECU what it needs to know that you are running 100oct.

And yep, get an intake. I am getting them made right now. It will be worth 20-25whp. Instead of making peak hp at 5200rpm, power will keep rising until 5900-6000rpm and then be nearly flat to redline. The stock airbox, as I've said before, starts to be a major restriction above 350-360whp. No way anyone is going to make 400whp with the stock airbox.

You dont sound like an ass.... I thought they'd be up there as well.... im wondering if my car needed more time to adapt? I literally changed the tq settings from 96% to 100% 30 minutes and 20 miles before I dyno'd.

It will. You just need an exhaust and an intake

Yea, that's what Im thinking... I couldnt do that for a couple of reasons.
1, Rain- and a lot of it...
2, every slow person on the road was in front of me...

Im going to Dyno again next week. Im gonna keep the tq settings at 100 forever. I know for certain though that I didn't do what was needed for the car to adapt in such a short time...

Thats what i'm thinking. Like Shiv said, a few hard pulls in 2nd and 3rd gear all the way up to red line, before dyno. Oh well....that torque is HUGE!

lol... yeah... forget about doing 3rd gear WOT runs (40-100mph) in the rain that we've been getting here the last two days. Unfortunately, that is what is needed if you want the car to adapt to the good gas. Which, judging by the power changes in each run, it didn't do. Once adapted, you should make a repeatable 370-375whp and 430-440lbft of torque. With an intake, expect 20-25whp more. Without it, don't expect numbers to increase much from your third run. The stock airbox essentially puts a clamp on airflow.

I'll be your beta tester on the intake if you want constant values generated from running full time 100 octane... This is the only gas I use...

Im still happy with the numbers.

I'm happy that you posted those runs. It's clearly shows how the ECU adapts to race gas. You can literally see the trial and error logic the ECU employs to adapt to gas. With chunks of torque being picked up in certain RPM ranges after each run. Nifty stuff.

LOL, when i ran 100 octane on the track, every consecutive run felt stronger and stronger, took about 3 runs just like shiv indicated.

SHIV let me know about that intake, im ready to order!!!!

The intake that Terry is running is a quick and dirty prototype that I made several weeks back. It makes power but it doesn't fit well with the engine cowl installed. It's not nearly as loud, IMHO, as Terry suggests. But it is louder than stock. The production version is substantially quieter than that one. And it also fits

How loud is the new intake going to be compared to lets say the ITG in the stock airbox?
