MAP Sensors

Does anyone know why there are 2 part numbers for the MAP sensors on the N54? The MAP sensor on the Intake Manifold is 13627585492 and the one on the Charge Pipe is 13627585492.

Is there any difference? Do they perform different functions?

Yes, from what I undersstand is the sensor on the manifold is for vacuum and the sensor on the chargepipe is for boost

Also they have different bar ratings

Pretty sure the sensor on the chargepipe is a TMAP which also measures intake temperatures in addition to pressure = ( ie Temperature Manifold Absolute Pressure)

I've replaced them both, they look identical but I believe they have different part numbers.

What was the reason for you replacing both? Anything noticeably wrong with them?

I was having a rough idle, I replaced these because on my old car the map sensor caused a rough idle. This was before I found this forum and found out my rough idle was most likely injectors (which it was). The internet is a fantastic resource if not used for porn or cat videos.
