Coolant Hose Replacement
So in the middle of replacing my OFH gasket, I had to take off the coolant hose to gain enough access to the bottom bolt to the housing... In the midst of removing it, the flange broke. I soon realized that the hose and flange are all one assembly and connect the engine block to the thermostat. Does anyone know the best way to replace this hose? I've searched the DIY section of all the forums and nobody seems to have replaced it....

I wrote a DIY for the N52 coolant hoses. If you go to realOEM.com it has excellent pictures of all the coolant hoses and there locations and attachment points. I'm not familiar with the N54/N55 to give you much better advice, but the coolant hose that attaches to the OFH runs down the front of the engine to the thermostat on the N52, I think it is the same for the N54/55.
