Help!!! Boost-be-gone
I had a mechanic replace my AC compressor with nothing else wrong with the car. After the repair was complete I left with the car and realized immediately there was no boost and it's slow as dirt. The mechanic was able to get it to through limp-mode with code 30FFH but he's not sure where to go from here. He thinks the computer is telling the wastegates to stay open for some reason.
What might he have done in the process of replacing the AC compressor that would cause the issue? |

Problem solved! The mechanic called a BMW tech who said it's a common problem when the battery and alternator are not hooked up. He said the BMW tech showed him a way to go in the back way to reset it.
