Maybe in a bit thick and that's quite possible!
But voice control is utter shit.

Anyway, when I press the voice control button the sound (ie) radio goes off as if waiting for a command. I give the command as per the list or understood commands and ...... Nothing.

Also it then won't go back to putting the radio on, no matter what I do it's as if it gets stuck on 'voice command' mode

Any ideas, am I doing something wrong. Don't care about voice control working just want to know how to get back to having sound after the button is pressed.

I've accidentally pressed it a couple of times and been stuck on a long journey with no tunes

I've always thought that there should be a cockney version as mine hasn't got a scooby what I'm saying half the time.

It's always done it. Just never used it and was pissing about today whilst stuck on m60 and then lost all sound - was a looooooong trip home

Might take it in and ask but I'll need to take the Dension out 1st - bugger!

Do you have CCC?
Disconnect Dension and see if that helps.

I'll try disconnecting the dension tomorrow although I do remember this being a problem before putting the dension in

Try using voice control after you've upgraded the stereo. 1st time I pressed the button after adding my mosconi / gladen kit I thought my car was trying to deafen me !!!!! I shit you not, passing planes could hear !!!

^^^ yeah I don't even want to use it cause it's that rubbish! But As said I've often just pressed it by accident when messing about and then I loose all sound so there must be a way of getting back to normal after pressing the button surely

The only voice command that worked consistently in mine was "Perspective"

All of the other voice commands were hit and miss.

I've played with this once or twice, but got bored.

I am yet to be convinced that talking at inanimate objects is the way forward TBH. I think on the car, it's even less worthwhile when you can programme shortcuts to the 8 headunit buttons anyway.
