What's involved in retrofitting Logic 7?
Friend is parting out a car, I'm thinking about pulling the Logic 7 components.
08 335i with iDrive to 09 328iT without iDrive Questions -Do iDrive and iDrive cars use the same logic 7 system? -anyone have the official BMW instructions for this retrofit? -better yet, anyone have a DIY thread or even just outline (I don't need step by step how to remove door cards, etc, just what components need to be swapped, what pins need to be moved, what harnesses/brackets are required)? -if it's really infeasible, what about just pulling the under seats sub woofers and/or door card speakers? What would be involved in getting them to work with the "HiFi" setup in the e91? I don't mind a big project (I rebuild my M5 engine this summer myself, and have a very unusual stereo setup in the M3), I just can't seem to find any guide to what actually needs to be done here. Thanks!

What is the trouble?
And... Are the speakers a plug and play swap (if I don't do all of it)? Can the under seat subs be made to work?

I also agree don't do it. Contact musicar nw. If you can get them to answer the phone they can set you up with a complete system that will outperform the logic 7 system for less money.
