Misfire and DMTL can i drive home?
Currently out on roadtrip~ about 200 miles one way.
Got service engine soon and hard to speed up. Drove for 10min and service light went away and car ran fine. Ran the codes and got DMTL and cylinder misfire 1. Im guessing plugs or coil for 29cd code and fuel pump for DMTL. Can i drive my car back 200 miles back ? Parked car at camping site and cleared codes. No service light and car idles and starts fine. Going to drive around tonight and see if i get the codes again. 08 n52 at 87k miles. Still on factory plugs and coil |

DMTL pump is emissions related, doesn't effect engine performance/driveabily. Cylinder misfire isnt a huge deal, the DME will cut power to the effected cylinder fuel injector so your not dumping raw fuel into the cat destroying it. BTW never hurts to carry an extra coil in the trunk just my thought
