Finally got my v2 installed! (2008)
So my impressions of v2. The car runs like stock until you apply about 1/3 - 1/2 throttle. I experience the boring stock-lik performance driving around town, but that's just fine for me. I see that the car picks up alot quicker when you punch it though(6AT). For those of you who have 1.47...remember that nice punch down low? Imagine about 3/4 - 5/6 of that power "slam" extended out through the entire RPM band. I am very satisfied that shiv smoothed this out. I had a local PROcede guru install my v2 and make sure everything was done right, as well as run a USB cable from ECU to glovebox. Interestingly, 335ihellraiser and Bolas happened to show up by mere chance, nice tofinally meet some of you local guys.
I started off leaving my settings @ 90% and did some logs on the 50 mile drive home and didn't see over about 14.5 psi at ANY time, not even between shifts. Increased torque to 91% across the board and same result. I deleted those logs to record the 92% I eventually raised it to, and am now @ 93% but have not data logged it. My max boost was 14.6 psi right after the shift from 2nd into 3rd when the RPMs are just starting to pick up. The boost is relatively smooth and flat from my data tables I have logged since having v2. On 93 octane and 92% torque, I only hit 13.7 - 14.2 psi around the 5300 - 5500 RPM range. How much more wiggle room do I have? I assume I can run 94% no problem, but will hold off until I can datalog it in 93%. So far the car runs smooth as butter, with no issues. Can't wait for v2.0.3!

Ask anyone here down south and they will tell you he is the man for procedes. 335ihellraiser will vouch for him, as will Bolas.

Update: Data logged some 93% runs and the boost curves are not as smooth anymore. But peak PSI is still 14.6. In general, I am now @ about 14.5 psi througout 2nd gear, and in the high 13's in 3rd, if my memory serves me correctly.
But now there are random points where boost will drop to about 12 or 13 psi. What's up with that? I assume it is the turbos not being able to maintain 14+ pounds consistently? That or should I upgrade my DVs?

Been lurking for the past month and half and have pretty much decided to go with a Procede set-up as well. The only thing is I'll wait until the summer as I really do not see the use of the extra power in the white stuff!!! Later,

It all feels the same to me, but 93% feels a little more powerful. I am working on uploading my datalogs now so I can hear some input on my random fluctuations.

Shiv, what I mean is rideelement is saying he feels a less smooth throttle response with 93% vs 92%. This is what I'm interpeting, but I could be wrong. I know you said a while back that you can safely go up to 94% on 93 octane. I have mine set at 93%. Sometimes I feel it is not as smooth but it could be in my head. I might try 92% to see if there is a difference. Again, kudos to you for such a user configurable tuning platform! |

a) if you run more boost than the octane can safely support and you get knock retard (bad). b) if you run enough boost to induce a leak in your induction system (faulty bov, loose clamp, etc,.) That's really about it. Shiv |

Here's my datalogs:
The above is @ 92%. This is @ 92% as well. This is @ 93%. This is @ 93%. I run all the way up to 3rd gear, most are from either a standstill or about a 20mph roll.
