Attn: Longtran Q: DIY E90 tail light

Last night, I installed the trunk part tail lights. There are actually 3 bulbs on each light. I found neither of the bottom light bulb were on. When I unpluged the nut, the fluey cover dropped and was hung by a wire which was connected to the Sign Holder on the exposed side. [sorry about that, i dont have the picture, hope you understand what I am talking about] the wire was supposed to attached on a spot of the top, I just attached it back wherever it fit before I put the fluey cover back. I am not sure if it was the reason the lights were off and right now my trunk cant lock.

please feel free to drop a line and help me out, thanks.

we need pics maybe to help you out ... are we talking about the inner piece (the piece with the reverse lights) or the outer piece (the piece with the turn signal)?

i will try to get the pictures. yes, I am talking about the inner pieces. each of them contains 3 light bulbs, both of the bottom light bulbs were off. are they usually on with the other two? by the way I just fix the trunk problem and it seemed not to do with the light issue.

look at the tail lights. engine is one, hand break is pulled up and transmission shift is on parking status. see the bottom part of the tail light, is there anything i installed wrong or Mileone shipped one to me with missing light bulbs?

it looks right to me. if you are refering to the bottom light on the trunk, that is a rear fog light. that is optional. you need a euro switch to activate it. or you can search the boards for others that have made your oem work with legos or old credit card. look good.
