My First Mod!

Just completed my first mod to my e92! Installed some Nokya yellow fogs. I really like the outcome. It was pretty easy, but there were SO MANY bolts/screws to remove from each wheel-well. Wasn’t an issue, but I am used to my last car (Honda Accord) where there were about 4-5. The BMW had about 10 which is ok, just didn’t expect that many.

My only question would be that I noticed that the driver's side fog seems to be aimed down a little more than the other. It wasn’t as noticeable with the stock lights. but I noticed it more here. Any suggestions? Let me know!

Here are the ones I took tonight:

Almost forgot, I have the original OEM fogs if anyone would be interested in buying them. Make me an offer!

Thumbs up

Looks good! I've been using Nokya for years... the color of their yellow, I guess. Also got them in my DRLs.

While driving at night I can barely tell they are yellow. If no one told me, I probably wouldn't even notice. But I do like them. It's a perfect contrast and tasteful if you ask me

Nice job, especially on a white car like that bro.

As for me, I've been through pretty much every halogen solution- without satisfaction.

PIAA Xtreme yellow fogs, which were arguably the best on the market right now for an H11 55W bulb.

I got an 535 F10 loaner a few weeks back, and that thing had some incredibly nice bright LED fog lights. Someday, I hope to retrofit some nice bright yellow LED fogs that work without errors in our vehicles- am I just dreaming vendors?

Do you remember which kit number you bought and if it requires a resistor?

^ I was satisfied with going with a halogen bulb since the housing is relatively small and shaped well. Heard about the PIAA bulbs, just heard more about the Nokyas. LEDs would be a good option, as long as it still looks pretty OEM, IMHO.

^ Yeah, here is the link. They were just plug and play. Nothing needed but the bulb!
