I installed it a few days ago. First impression is its making no difference. Figure I'll drive it for another week or so, but not looking good so far.

I installed the DEFIV lockdown kit a couple years ago. Works as advertised. Combined with LSD and M3 subframe bushings it solved all my wheel hop problems.

That sounds like the idea setup, but my budget won't permit it :/ I saw that brace as well, but it is ~4x the price.

Do you have coilovers or upgraded shocks? I'm thinking my wheel hop might be tied to worn out shocks after 83k miles. Got some bilsteins on order so plan is to remove diff brace, install shocks, test for wheel hop, then reinatall brace, check wheel hop again.

I am running Ohlins coilovers combined with 673 lb. swift springs in the rear. Solid set-up with absolutely no wheel hop. Hook and book every time

Worn shocks might be part of your problem. I found that the lockdown kit was the only thing that completely eliminated wheel hop. I am auto but I think this is especially true for 6MT cars.

I have the diff brace from boost addictions and Justin installed it himself and my car required a slight modification because it was a unique model and he took the liberty and making it go on with the modification "MY CAR" needed not the part. I am not trying to push the product or advertise it but it definitely works and the car definitely fe ls more solid in the back ESPECIALLY when launching the car and doing quarter mile. For the cheap price it definitely delivers.

I have installed this product and love it!!!! I have had actual track time with it and can say it made a huge difference! My car stays firmly planted and the wheel hop is gone. Feels almost like a true LSD. My car is making 450/510 to the wheels. My only regret is I didn't do this sooner lol good thing this one just came out
The install was crazy easy.....one of my favorite mods to date!!!

Happy to hear the good reviews... I'm running new stiffer subframe bushings and ordered the lock down brace but am holding off getting an lsd as I don't plan on having this car for too long.

Any reviews of people running the lock down brace with subframe bushings & no LSD? Any results? Track/street/drag racing with an FBO car.

I ran the ***********ions diff brace, very convienient part, as it can be installed and uninstalled very easily without hassle in less than 5 minutes

Holds the backend down very well during WOT. Car feels much more planted in the rear, and reduces wheel hop significantly.

I feel you there, I have a set of motor mounts and the new VTT inserts ready to go in, just waiting on the darn engine holder from HF to come so I can do the mounts and oil pan gasket.

I believe I used the large , but you will need to read as it tells which is required for you. You can't just pick one or the other, they are specific to what diff you have !

Large brace is for manual cars, small brace is for auto. Manual cars have a bigger diff
