335d Fuel Filter; How many hours of labor?

Hello,

It's time for me to get an oil change and fuel filter change.

How many hours of labor should I be charged for the fuel filter alone?
Just wanted to make sure I don't get taken for a ride.

Doing it at home was no more than an hour for me so based on that, the dealer shouldn't charge you more than 1 hour. But that's just a guess.

There is a diy on here somewhere. It's pretty easy especially if it has been done before, the crimp clamp will have been replaced already with a screw clamp.

99% of the time is spent pulling off and putting back on the underbody panel

Buying some ramps, container and a cheap drill (makes screws easier) and DIY is still cheaper than paying what someone will charge you for. It literally shouldn't be more than .5hrs, I'm guessing the book says .3. If you really want, you can return the tools right after, lol.

Dealer will charge you $500-800. I get mine done by Indy.
