Is there a permanent fix for ps pump hitting subframe?

Hello all,

Just recent had to replace my serpentine belt as it shredded on the interstate from hitting the subframe. My car is an 07 and I've seen and read through all the threads regarding this problem but it doesn't seem as if anyone has ever posted regarding whether the IS motor mount and notching/grinding down the subframe actually permanently fixes the problem. I'm not willing to replace the subframe, but would like to hear feedback from Others who have had this problem and fixed it other ways.

Thanks!

Get with @Jake@Motiv

I think they have solid mounts which will eliminate the movement and keep it from hitting.

solid engine mounts are the permanent fix. If you don't want the increased NVH replace them every 4yrs or 60k it is the root cause.

I would also add belt/tensioner/pulleys to that list.

Look into vibratechnics mounts. They are awesome but I'm not sure if they have an N54 application or not.
