Alpina wheels remind me of all those hideous 24" wheels you see on 80s and 90s buicks.

Accessories can be purchased at a ridiculous price I am sure ...valve stem integrated under the lockable center cap for a uniform look ohhh yeah..
Someone buy these please.. neat concept.. Besides it would be awesome going to the gas station and asking the jockey to add a little air... haha

I don't see another diesel in my future. It can only get worse from this point on due to emission rules.

Arthur FIRST it would have to be in the AUTHORIZED vehicles list to import. Second BMWoA will not want to bring it since they feel that it would not sell properly and/or cannibalizes other sales.. Third we're SOL on them

I think you are looking at the glass half empty.. The diesel aftertreatment systems have only gotten more reliable and better as the years have progressed. When the after treatments first came out there was some growing pains for sure, just like any new technology its expensive and untested.

Eventually you should see the disappearance of egr systems due to the fact they are outdated and the dpf, scr, emissions systems are already providing the service. Drop in compression and possibly infinite valve timing and intake timing, will do wonderful things for power and emissions.
People say they dont make em like they used to... yeah thank god!
My bmw diesel can out brake out handle and out accelerate pretty much every bone stock muscle car on the street/track from the 60,70's and destroys most cars it lines up bumpers to on the street including other bmw's from the same year.

Sorry for the rant..
