Can anyone help me code E92 LCI Tails step by step?
Ok guys,
I know this question has been answered a bunch of times but I'm finding bit by bit instructions and was wondering if anyone could help me step by step on how to code a 2008 E92 to LCI tails, Exactly what do I need, and what do I do once I have it, Heres what I have, I have a DCAN cable, I bought it years ago to code my Z4M, The laptop I had all the software on is now long gone, I have 1 windows laptop thats running Windows 7 Home Premium I don't think I have an XP disc anymore but I do have parallels software on one of my Macs, So is this enough? What software do I download, and step by step what do I do with it just to code the tails? Sorry to ask a question that I know could be found by searching but I'm looking for an exact step by step for this one job rather than coding in general, (I also have a BT Enthusiast cable too if you can code with that?)

Install BMW Standard Tools 2.12, install kdcan driver, set latency and comport to 1. Import your DATENs, and you should be good to go.
If you'd like, I can install remotely, just shoot me a pm. Joe |

Just wanna say a HUGE thanks to Joe "wildcatcrazy" for helping me with coding this to my car,
No way I would have figured it out without him, I feel "semi" confident now to try and code side amber delete for the front headlights lol, But my LCI tails are all fitted and working great! Thanks Joe!

As they say practice makes perfect!
Thanks to Joe I have been going on a coding frenzy lol, Finally got the LCI lights all done, Than I managed to turn off the amber bulb in the headlights, Now it only comes on with the turn signals, So I thought, How about one step further? Lets get rid of that little amber LED in the top corner, Well after a bit more searching and messing around I got rid of that too (excuse the dirty headlights) Also coded a few other features, The wipers always returning to resting position, Both the Bi-Xenon and Halogen turning on for high beams, the windows auto closing, digital speed readout, window open and close even if door is opened, I think I'm missing a few, But I think I finally have the hang of it! I also in this learning process erased Joes help of remotely coding my LCI tails TWICE lol, So I had to code the LCI tails myself and I'm happy to say that went fine too Thanks again Joe! and if any locals need a hand lemme know,
