Extended warranty after CPO
So I currently have a CPO that will cover me to 160000km/2018, but knowing my driving habits, I will probably hit that 160000 in 2 years or so.
What are my options after the CPO runs out? Does BMW offer anything more after that? The car has been under BMW warranty since day 1. Would my only option after that be a 3rd party warranty?

There are a variety of options. Also, the price is negotiable. Since the EVP is through BMW NA, you can buy from any dealer. The best price I got was from Jeff Steel at Passport Auto - jeff.steel@passportauto.com Email him for a quote. His quote was significantly cheaper than the other quotes I received and much less than what my local dealer had quoted me. Last edited by snaimpally; 12-06-2014 at 09:13 PM.. |

You'll have to do some digging. I did find the above on the bmw.ca website. Try calling your local dealership. |

3rd party coverage
A third party extended warranty does not provide new OEM components, they reserve the right to provide "like" components. This means used or salvage vehicle parts. For those outside of the original 4yr/50k original factory warranty, I would rank Fidelity first and route 66 a distant 2nd as Fidelity does pay the full labor rates and provide new component parts nationwide. Fidelity is the actual underwriter for the original factory warranty of every Volkswagen and Audi in the united States. We should all do our due diligence, however I felt that I share reality. www.fidelitywarrantyservices.com -MrAwesome
