Header Installation Price? (SoCal)

Hey SoCal e90posters,

I understand the time and sometimes price that comes with header installs but does anyone know of a shop they can recommend me too? The shop I usually go to are iffy on installing it (for obvious reasons). I live near the IE and OC. Any idea on price around here? Thanks in advanced!

Offset installed mine, so they have at least one N52 headers install under their belt.

I bought the AA headers. They're being shipped as we speak.

Hey man noticed your in SoCal and you said you'd have a lot of modifications besides the headers. Do you have all those mods minus the headers or are u going to throw all that stuff on after u install the headers. I'm interested in getting a set of these headers myself and was wondering if after you install them could I check out how he car is sound/performance wise after you throw them on.

I'm assuming you were referencing the AA thread. Yes, I do have all the mods listed excluding the headers and tune. And sure, you're more than welcome to come see it. I'll let you know once installed. Most likely though after Xmas.

That's fine. Im either going with these headers or race pipes I want to do both but won't because of smog. Just see how impressive these headers really are.

I have aFe race pipes and kept my cats. For $250, you can't go wrong with it. Headers were just too loud for me.

I agree with Hongsc, if you go with just AFE midpipes, you won't be sorry. Best bang for the buck for me at only $300.

Yes in the k-town area. Probably won't sound as nice since I didn't do the secondary cat delete. Maybe we can set up a mini meet in the SoCal thread. Looks like some members are interested.

You mean you deleted your secondary cats and kept the resonator and primary cats.

No. I kept 2nd cats. The shop didn't want to do it since it was "illegal". I didn't have the midpipe from the PE but had the resonator delete done before, when the PE muffler was installed. It was an interesting install at the muffler shop. Had it done at Mike's Muffler.

I thought the race pipes deleted the 2ndaries though. Did it make it a bit louder even with the 2ndaries in place?
