SUB install help
Hey guys, put my sub into today... or try to.
Ran into a few issues. 1st after hooking everything up, I get a little clicking noise coming from the driver's front speaker... I spliced into the factory amp harness using the factory sub wires and it sounds like it only clicks when i hit a pothole or a bump. You can hear it when the music is down. 2nd- Does anyone know a good remote wire that I can use? I have the Logic 7 in a coupe with no I-Drive. I did a many searches and I cant find any good answers. Thanks for any help. |

The crackling noise sounds like a bad connection, if its only happening if u hit a bump. its not consisent then right? My guess, loose connection.
The remote wire you either have to run it along the rocker to the fuse panel, or get a test light and check which wire goes on and off w the ignition, remembering about the sleep mode. So your amp might stay on for a bit, depending on the wire you used. Hope this helps
