Bmwhat app issues.

Apologies first as I know there is a big Bmwhat app thread somewhere but can't seem to find it.

Anyway I have the lite version of the app and bought the cable and adapter from the app makers, however it seems I can only connect and thats it, it doesn't pick up any ECUs and also says my ECU isn't compatible either??

Is it really not compatible or am I missing something?

its a E90 prelci 330d.

Any help would be most appreciated.

edit: android app on a samsung s4

The year of your car also has to match up to the version you are using.

Is kies running on your device? If so, kill it as I have found it causes connection issues.
