$2500 To Spend?

Ok gang what do I do? Getting married in a year so I will be on an aggressive savings plan from now until then. For now this will be my last mod / toy I can by. With that said my car is a 2007 335i Step. My current mods are, AA exhaust, K&N drop in, UR/HKS blow off valve and SSTT. Do I take the money and get a RPI intercooler or upgrade to the DINAN reflash. I know in the end this is a decision I have to make myself...just want to here everyones thoughts on this.

Given the choices you have laid out, get the Dinan flash man, you won't regret it.

I thought with the Dinan tune you were limited only to other Dinan products as well? Or no?

I would definitely go with a tune rather than an IC. You'll get more bang for the buck. I wouldn't go with Dinan either since you kind of are limited to the Dinan stuff. I've never had a problem with warranty things but for some reason, if anything were to happen to your engine, I could see them denying a warranty claim if you had an AA IC on your car because the AA IC made the water temps run hotter or something like that (I only chose this as an example. I have no reason to believe that the AA IC makes the engine run hotter).
If you want the power of Dinan then go with the procede and get more power. This way you could always sell it later on (if you ever decide to).
That's my thoughts.

Don't get your hopes too high. Nothing crazy. But let's just say... Why settle for just one tune, when you can have them all?

Sounds like it's worth a month wait

In regards to your 2500 save a little money for the track / dyno and post the results to what you got. Good luck!

well if you sell your SSTT you budget just got a little larger
if you think you would be content w/ Dinan's limited power, then do it.

Are you sure? I swear I read it somewhere (I could be wrong though), but if that's the case, why would anyone buy their exhaust if they didn't need to?

you dont need the dinan exhaust to get the dinan flash, u can get the dinan flash alone and have other parts with it.
with a 50WHP and 70WTQ average gains w/ 93octane along with other fine adjustments the dinan flash is a good upgrade. more power than the SSTT and u will have a smoother throttle along with no speed limit.

Are you happy with how fast your car is now? You could buy some pretty nice wheels and tires with that money. Nothing makes an impact on how a car looks then some nice shoes!!

Otherwise, I'd look a V2.......used off the forum (nice cause you get V2 right away and can save a little $$$$) then pic up a very good intake, or wait to see if Shiv releases an intake solution. You probably got $500 left over for a valentine 1 to protect your investment in your mods

I would also go with a tune over a FMIC.

Only difference would be that I would go with the Helix tune instead and put that extra cash into some suspension.
