E61 owners?

I keep finding myself looking at E61's, specifically 535d M Sports!
Has anyone gone from or to an E61 from an E91?
The looks are really growing on me, and also the extra space/size too.
Its also surprising how they seem to be cheaper than the 3 series equivalent models, and also have bigger specs and more extras.
it certainly seems owners of 5 series spec them up a lot more than 3 series!
If I made the move it would be no smaller engine than a 530d, but would prefer 535d, and definitely no SE models!

Any thoughts/advice/experiences?

My old man has the M5. Awesome bit of kit.

Even the standard cars look great in Msport guiSe.

They are very nice, I think the difference in specs is down to the 5 being the "better" model ie further up the food chain so bmw have to distinguish this. In regards to the price you've got to remember the E60 came out in 03 where as the E90 wasn't released until late 05 and as such the replacement F10 came sooner meaning the prices are a lot lower.

I keep finding myself looking but since the E90 is newer I'll be upgrading to a 2010 onwards model or an early F10.

My old man is going to sell his E61 M5 in the new year after 3.5 years and 60k miles. Gonna be a shame to see her go.
