330d Thermostat advice
Hi guys
I've read a few forums about changing thermostats, and think this is whats needed for mine. Question is, some people have advised to steer clear of the main thermostats from Euro parts, but the EGR one is ok? main dealer is asking 60 quid for the main thermostat, and GSF is £43, so bit of a price difference. Has anyone got a stat from GSF and whats it like? Had parts from GSF before, and always been ok with them, but thought i'd seek your wisdom on this matter. Cheers |

personally I dont think you will go wrong with genuine, there not that expensive overall and atleast you only do them once. well for atleast another 2 years or so anyway. I dont understand buying euro car parts stuff as it dont last as long, the main stat is awkward but if you do it with the right parts you will only do it once.
