E93 325i Ignition Coil Wiring issue
Hi, I've been reading this forum for a while now and it's helped me massively, but I'm now having an issue that there doesn't seem to be any information for.
I've been having an issue with my N53 325i where on cold starts, the car has a very rough idle and power seems reduced. After driving for 5 mins, everything is fine and the car pulls great. I get a check engine light, which is due to a cylinder 3 misfire. I have changed the fuel injector, all of the spark plugs and changed around the ignition coils, but none of this has helped. However, when I remove the connector for the cylinder 3 coil, there seems to be no difference in the engine idle leading me to believe that it might be the wiring harness that is at fault. I have tried some electrical contact cleaner, but it hasn't helped. Has anyone had this issue, or know how to fix it? Thanks, Jordan |
