rear shocker replacement 335d time and parts
Had a good look under car today noticed drivers side rear shocker has misting on it, wondering what's the best brand etc to replace it with? Obviously on all 335d it's m sport suspension don't know if that will make a difference? Wondering how long it will take to replace too.
I did one on a fabia vrs years ago took my top hours, 3 bolts up top, compress leg and bolt on bottom arm. Cheers |

One bolt at the bottom one bolt at the top!
always worth changing both sides at onces if you are doing like for like change. ie keeping standard m sport shocks. you have to remove or move the rear side boot linings that takes the longest. worth changing upper and lower shock mounts. you have to remove them so worth changing.

I got the sachs m sport shocks for my 330d from Eurocarparts, I believe they are what BMW use without the badge & the hefty price tag. If they are the same part no on the 335 my receipt shows the ECP part no 635110580, they are not handed on the rear so you will require 2. Think they worked out at around £100 for the pair, I did all 4 as one of my fronts was leaking & total bill came to £245.
