Next stop USA/help

Hi!

I am soon going to finish "Gymnasiunm" (I believe it's Called High School in USA.)

And when i have finished "high school" here in denmark i am going to visit USA, and it's going to be a long visit

I have planned to live in USA for 6-12 months and work there to see how it is on the other site of the sea, instead of getting my picture of USA from movies and etc. i decided to go and live there.

I dont know for how long i am going to stay, but approximately 6-12 months.

My question is:

If i visit USA, can i be able to have my own bmw without be to expensive?

There must be some kind of leasing so i can return the car after 6-12 months?

And what do leasing cost pr. month

Looking forward for some answers or advice

I've only leased one car that I ended up trading in after a year, but I've never seen a one year lease before.

can't you just make a "1 year contract" or something? or just make a deal with your dealer

you could also consider looking into a lease takeover ...in Canada we have http://www.leasebusters.com where there are a number of 6-12 month BMW lease takeovers.

You are best off taking over a lease or purchasing a used BMW for your stay.

What type of visa will be using for your extended stay?

He has his priorities right: get the car, then figure out the university

Otherwise, he couldn´t get there.

Exo, i gave leasebusters.com as a canadian example of lease takeovers (with our canadian prices which are 30% more than US prices for the same car ).
Perhaps someone from the US can chime in with a lease takeover service they are familiar with.
gl

oh, and be sure to visit canada while your in the neighbourhood

I would recommend taking over a lease like others have mentioned.

Try leasetrader.com and swapalease.com

Hope you will enjoy your US stay!

I dont think you will be able to lease a car...you need a Social Security number and a decent credit history before even thinking of leasing a car..

I would pay the whole lease-agreement cash same day i make the contract if i have to, so thats not a problem.....but a Social Security Number?
Hmm....? dont i get that when i work in US? or else i can buy the car through relatives or friends who live in US
