225/45/R18Y fit on a e90 / sport

Does anyone know if this wheel and tire combo will fit on my 2008 e90 335i. I had bought some aftermarket rims that lasted two months before they got bent so would like to get some OEM wheels before I sell my car in the near future.

The following are wheels and tires taken off a new 2013 BMW 328i.

WHEELS: Model BMW 396

TIRES: Continental Contisport Contact SSR (225/45/R18Y) with RUN FLAT capability

I have tried to read some previous threads but was still unsure if this tire size would fit or look really bad. I do not want to lower my car either.

Thanks

They will fit, but I believe your speedo will be off because of the tire size. You should have 40 profile tires not 45. Someone please chime in if I'm incorrect.

As said, no problems except speedo. My winter set is a square 225/45R18. They "correct" the speedo from 3-4 mph fast at 70 mp to 1-2 mph fast - checked it just yesterday with my GPS. Gotta be careful setting the cruise control - have to drop back by a couple mph.

Thanks for the info does anyone know how they actually look with the extra rubber profile height and less width. I currently have 235/35 R19 and 265/30 R19.
