Anyone autocross their car?

I was just wondering if any of you guys autocrossed your car? I've had the chance to get plenty of seat time in a factory five cobra and loved it. I'm curious as to how these cars work?

Autocrossed mine this past summer at the Farm Show complex with Nittany Bimmers. I was in the top 3, even beat out an e92 M3.

The torque of the D helps out a lot in autox environments, really propels you out of tight corners which keeps the time down. Shift her into sport mode and play around with whatever traction setting you feel comfortable with and let her rip. On my runs, I had all the nannies off and was enjoying some trailing throttle over-steer to move the car around. Fun times.

I did the farm show and the giant center. Not sure when you were there but maybe you saw a friend of mine in an srt8 grand Cherokee. Everyone had a laugh at that but it did pretty well

I autocrossed in 2013, and some in 2014 through the SCCA. All of which was along the Carolina coast. No mods except a roof rack and kept the Bridgestone RFT's... Still put up good times against 5.0's with much more experienced drivers, within a tenth of a second. The torques helps a lot, I prefer to use the paddles and the least amount traction control. Overall it handles similar to a rwd V8 gasser, my main issue was keeping it in the gear I wanted, there is the kickdown blocker from burger which I plan on using this year.

I'm running one on Feb 1 and am looking forward to it. Diesel and automatic are a new thing for me so should be interesting.

I have heard some say sport/manual mode, traction off, start in second. How do others here launch?

(All the 'nannies'? What else is there to turn off besides traction control?)

I hope to have some pictures but will post only if they look like I'm going fast.
