Windows tinter recommendation

Hi

I'm about to take the delivery of our F15 X5, any recommendations for a reputable windows tinter in Melbourne?

Got mine done at tint professor. With the F1 tint. So far so good.

I would also like to know a good tinting place, but keeping in mind my low budget LOOL
my car already has tint (35%) I believe but I want to go 10% all round

Are you thinking of placing tint over tint? Didn't know that you could do that.

All my cars have been done at Supatint.
20% all round.

Guy lives in Thomastown (Check out fb page)

You can do tint on tint if your current tint is in good shape.

10% all round is nuts! I'm already winding down the windows when reversing the car at night.

dont do it bro. keep it legal. if u get pulled over theyll defect you and make you rip it off

hahaha nah I was gonna rip off my old tint and do it, maybe I should do 10% rear 20% front

Also bear in mind that some window tints react with our keyless entry. Look into this when choosing tints and do a bit or trawling in this forum for more info as im not sure on the specifics.

CarX is supposed to be pretty good and budget-friendly.

got my e90 done by Dr Tint - he's in Bonbeach - great job and much cheaper than all the main guys.

Yeah I've got tint over tint on my car. It came with privacy rear windows and tinted fronts, but the front tint was a neat job so we could tint over it no problem. Ended up doing a 35% over the 35 front, and a 15% over the privacy rear which was about 30%ish or so. Just worked out cheaper than ripping off the old tint which can be a PITA to clean.
