dropping an xi
Hello all, I've been keeping up with the posts of dropping an xi...obviously the only coilovers that are available are the v3's. I am coming from a honda civic, and to drop it, you need to get a camber kit as well. Is that the case with the 335xi coupe, I havn't heard anybody talking about it. Would the v3's be the only part I would need to properly drop it with coilovers. Also would they be easy to install yourself or is it difficult enough to only let a shop do it. How much would it cost for the install average. I'm hearing people are paying about $850 just for the install...

I paid $300 for my install, by a reputable shop in Manchester NH.

I'm pretty sure I could use a camber kit to help with tire wear, but I don't think it's that bad. I had a 2000 Civic Si that was squashed and those things (Hondas) toe out really bad when you drop them.
