How to reduce torque with more power Bmw 335i stage 3 JB4
Hello Guys,
I have a pretty unique 335i. There is my setup 2 Turbos KKK K04, same as Audi S3 225hp Wagner intercooler Forged pistons CP JB4 with flash e85 KW V3, M3 e92 arms and stabilizer Ac schnitzer differencial 70% Front brakes Brembo 380x34 BMC filter Oil catch can BMS, PCV valve BMS. With a 60% E85 mix/ 40% mix SP98 and 20 psi on map6 my car has 504 hp and 700nm. It's a lot of torque and since I want to put a N20 Tmap sensor to have 22psi, I would like to keep the torque at 700nm max. Need advice to the way to do it on map 6. Thanks. |

Okey guys thanks, I don't have pictures of my turbos, I bought the car with it.
The thing is I already have low boost in low rpm, Terry gave me the range for the boost. |

Jesus, I thought this was a wishy washy, fanboi.. scared of 300hp thread.. but looks like you have a godzilla in your hands haha.. what size and type of tires are you running also?
but def a custom tune/map to help avoid spining would do the trick. any videos?

you can also lower the timing in that range to reduce output (in the flash), but IMHO boost alone should fix your problem

dude... Get a wider staggered setup.. you should be running minimum 9.5 front and 11 rears. 275 fronts and 295 or 305 rears. and tire type matters a lot too. If money is the problem, sell those stock wheels and get a set of Varstoens, the TE37 look alike, an entire set of 19x10 and 19x 11's will run you around $900 bucks and you can get decent tires from online tires.com dont worry about name brand.

I don't have any problem with the tyres, my traction is very good, no smoke even with the 2 gear. My problem is more with the cluch, I have the Sachs Performance and I don't want to smoke it, I prefer to limit the torque and keep 500hp if it's possible. I know there is some clutch for even 1000nm but I want to keep a soft clutch since I use this car every day even in the trafic of Paris...

If you had AT or DCT you would have kept up even better, that's one of the main reasons that GTR was ahead of you.
Good vid and nice job though Also most of your torque is in the low to mid range so keep the boost down in that area and just raise the boost up top. Your peak torque should stay the same. |
