Pathetic V2 dyno results!!!!!!

I am absolutely amazed that I could not even get 330whp.

335i, 6AT PROcede V2, Magnaflow Cat-back (Catless), BMC Air Filter, 92 octane, 94%

Conditions: DynoJet, 58F, 50% Humidity

SAE
326whp, 382wtq
323whp, 378wtq

Uncorrected
340whp, 398wtq
336whp, 393wtq

No stock runs.
To think that I was actually hoping for 360whp...what a joke...i'm just happy that my car put down 10hwp more than a Jb2H worth $350

i'm not an expert, but maybe thats what v2s acutally make? maybe people have been posting uncorrected numbers to show higher numbers? or maybe the 50% humidity had something to do with it? the torque still looks great though!

i'm not trying to start anything at all, please take my comment with a grain of salt.

What percentage are you running? Default (90%), 92%, 94%?

have you noticed it to be any slower than before? if not, then, who cares? not to be rude, but i'm sure it's fast enough for a street car. it's just numbers on paper, but at the end of the day, as long as your having fun, then dynos don't mean anything imho.

so you don't have a baseline?

Then you have nothing to compare it against unless you have other 335's there dynoing along w/ you.

you might be making great numbers but you simply don't know since you don't have a baseline.

Go back to that very same dyno w/ your bypass plugs installed and lay down a baseline. Simple.

Hey, at least you installed your V2. Mine is sitting here next to my keyboard.

Nice torque #s. Those are the ones that matter on the street anyway.

Wow, I wonder if the ECU is pulling a lot of timing; How many psi are you running at 94%? How about trying 92%?

That's it. Sell your car. It's a dud.

just kidding

Without a baseline run, these numbers themselves don't say much. And so many other questions go unanswered. Such as:

1) Was there a suitable fan in front of the IC
2) What boost pressure are you running as per your datalogs
3) What are the STD corrected numbers?

Answer these and maybe we'll have something more to go on. As for power expectations, 360whp with those mods is unreasonable. I wouldn't have expected more than 350whp. Beyond that, you need to replace the airbox.

Posting up the graph or run files would also be helpful.

1. There were 2 huge fans in front of the car
2. boost pressure was around 15

there was a stock 335 6MT with V2 that made 347whp.
2 other stock 335's with V2 made 330whp.

so you are saying that an intake would make me gain 40whp ( to 36x whp the advertised V2 dynos.) ...i find that hard to believe.
