This is the only thing i can find . . .
Now what the hell does it mean

P1140 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem

P1142 TPS Circuit Range/Perf. Problem (Low Input)

P1144 Mass Air Flow Sensor Open/Short To Ground

P1145 Solenoid Valve Running Losses Control Circuit Electrical

P1146 Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Perf (High Input)

Just my luck to be the first one to get this BMW code

Pressure sensor too high is normally an overboost error. But hey, I'm just guessing here. Did you only get it once? Maybe the car will adapt to the DP's and it will disappear.

right below the trunk release button (which is below your dash) there is a flat access plate about 2"x3". remove this (it just clips in place) and you will see the plug behind it.
Just got an Auterra myself the other day. Pretty nice.

I think that they are related to your DPs. Did you get catless DPs? If the code keeps coming up and you just installed something, it is more than likely your latest addition is causing the problems.

i have a cabrio, and am pretty sure i do not have a trunk release button
(i could be wrong though LOL).

assuming i do not have a trunk release, how else could you better describe
¨below your dash¨. is it more on the driver´s side of the car under the dash?

thanks

Where the hood release "lever" is located. Next to your left leg by the door on the panel right below the knob for your headlights. Just scan from the headlight knob downwards with your eyes until you see OBD written on a type of trap door. Pop it off and it reveals the OBD II port.

my auterra unit should be at my door this weekend.

what will you mainly be using your unit for?
i know this unit does alot of things, but since i have a juicebox ecu mod,
many of the features of the auterra will not be accurate.

our ecu mods fool both our ecu and unfortunately our auterra units also.
therefore, many readings like boost will not be accurate.

first plan on using my unit just for total timing advance.
then, i will try to find out what other auterra features i can still use that
are still accurate in spite of my ecu mod.

you have any ideas on this??
thanks

So can any1 chime in, Shiv perhaps??
and 1 more question for Shiv, will V2.1 map solve the DPs SES light?

The code started because of my rear 02 sensors being swapped Bank 1 and Bank2, when i changed them around the code vanished, havnt gotten it since.
I still cant find what that code is but at least its gone!

420 and 430 are cat inefficiency codes, i still thank goodness have not thrown this code and i got catless DP and exhaust. I think some builds are lucky and dont throw these codes.

Did you do any work on the car lately, could they have changed the sensors around? If not your cats or sensors are messed i think

420 and 430 cat inefficiency codes mean the ecu is not seeing enough improvement in the O2 readings after it passes thru the first set of cats, compared to the readings the O2 sensors were giving for the exhaust before it passed thru the cats. That usually means 1 of 3 things:
1) you removed the first set of cats, so of course there will be no improvement between the before & after samples.
2) your cats have not been removed, but they are not doing their job efficiently (bad cats)
3) your cats are working fine, but the O2 sensors (that test the emissions before and after the cats) are faulty.
If your downpipes are catless, 1) is the obvious answer.

I have Catless DPs installed. I didnt get any codes or SES for three days, until I disconnected the battery and reset the ECU, after doing so I got the SES and codes. No I made sure I havent changed the sensors around since I was the one installing the pipes.

But what about code 1146 ??
