Wouldn't spend that much $$$ on a 911. I actually heard that some prefer the GT3 over this because of the steering and whatnot.

nice find... king of the 911s. In response to bimmer loyalist, I'm not sure I would spend that much either, but I do think its the best car for the price. You're not getting a new ferrari within $100k, and theres not a single other car out there thats going to perform in its league. I'll take a GT3... unless i'm loaded one day. There's no doubt about it though, the 997 GT2 could possibly be the greatest porsche of all time.

911<911S<9114S<911Turbo<911GT3<911GT3RS<911GT2. I think that's how it goes, and I dunno where the Targa slots in. Correct me if I'm wrong.

you forgot all the cabriolets! But there's a targa 4 and a targa 4s that price-wise are ahead of the regular 911s and 9114s and cheaper than the cabrio versions.
If you had to ask in terms of PERFORMANCE... most people would agree: 911C4, 911C2, 911C4S, 911C2S, 911 Turbo/911 GT3 (the turbo is faster in a straight line but the GT3 beats it around every track), 911 GT3RS, 911GT2. ...With the cabrio versions and the targa versions being irrelevant to performance discussion, (although the cabrio 911C2S cabriolet is barely noticeably slower in the bends than its coupe counterpart from my experience.) Rarely do you see performance enthusiasts picking the awd version over the rwd version. It's just not porsche-like. I've heard some go as far as to say they like driving the C2S over the 911 turbo for that very reason.

Thanks for clearing it up for me guys...But the GT3 rs is like a super lightweight right??
Is the GT2 have the same treatment as the GT3 RS? Is the 911 Turbo the only one that is NOT naturally Aspirated? |

The GT2 is twin turbocharged just like the Turbo. Just think of it this way, the GT2 is basically a raw Porsche Turbo with RWD and upgraded stuff.
Ok nvm. That is a crappy relation, but I can't really explain that one to ya. |

What gtiTom said pretty much. The GT2 is sorta like mixing a GT3 and a Turbo. The RS is a GT3 that's pretty much uber track ready out of the factory.
