$2.19 tail light mod

I know its been done before. Just thought I'd share my results. This will do until I can afford some LCI lights

This is the red tint I bought:

You'll need an exacto knife, a heat gun and 30 mins of your time.

Use the straight edge of the film as your guide.

Looks more like the LCI tails than I would have thought!

I posted a similar thread a while back. It's good for the time being, I didn't even remove my tails to put the vinyl on.

I eventually got the LCI tails

Definitely makes a big difference and extremely cheap (I paid $1.37), mine is starting to turn a bit pink though. Guess I will either have to get LCI soon or redo them.

Mine did too as a matter of fact. I thought I was just seeing things, but guess not.

Thats probably due to cheap material fading due to UV rays.

I did mine with the red VHT spray, it came out great and allowed me to hold out for a good while before I went LCI

One of my first mods, vinyl wrapping companies usually give these out for free

I then realized how much I wanted the LCI LED bars, your life becomes much happier when you have LCI tails.
You also get to fit in with all the new luxury cars in Vancouver xD
