E93 335 with aftermarket exhaust??
Does anyone on the forum have a E93 335 with a aftermarker exhaust?? I wanted to buy the CP-E exhaust, but was told that the fitment was not the same because of the E93 crossbar brace towards the end of car..

The Eisenmann section three and section one are compatable with the E93. The section two will not work because of the brace. The Bastuck axle-back is also compatable and a great option. Feel free to PM me for prices and availability.

Depends on what you want, if it's only for sound, section 3 of many exhausts is enough. Well if you want performance, why did u get E93 to start with?
EDIT: And as E93 obviously isn't as performance oriented as E92, it just make sense that most aftermarket company won't develop a full exhaust for E93, unless the demand is there. |

I wanted the best of both worlds, a convertible with a performance minded motor...Whats better than that with top down in the summer, and a motor tuned to keep with with almost anyone!!! Difference between E92 and E93 is the weight and the build of the body frame, all else is the same!

For the E93 335i we offer the Eisenmann Section I (secondary cat-delete pipes) and the rear mufflers. Any skilled exhaust shop would be able to modify the Section II (X-pipe) to fit on an E93 335i. We offer three performance levels available for the E93 335i.

Spoke to my installer and he said it would not be a problem with the section 2 because worst case scenario is re-aligning it to fix or just fabricating another section 2 piece to fit into the third section....So i am going to go ahead in a couple of weeks and order a exhuast, now i just have to see which one i like the most as far as sound and little drone..

I already have catless downpipes, I plan on keeping the secondary cats and probably doing a section III install or just tips.

What catless dp's do you have? I think an Eisenmann Sport rear exhaust would be a nice combo with the dp's.

Offerings are still limited on our e93's. I haven't seen any E93's with modded exhaust in my neck of the woods either. I have seen and heard the Eisenmann on a 545i and it sounded great. I think spring/summer should bring more product offerings from other manufacturers. Looking to do a chip/exhaust combo in the spring/summer. Keep us posted on what you decide!

Wow my CP-e exhaust just came and it looks awesome...The box was gigantic and when i opened it up to take a look, all i can say is that the quality that they claimed is beyond words...The welding on it was pretty flawless...each piece was protectively wrapped and when i took a glimpse of the muffler, that shit was shiney as hell...I just hope when i install it Saturday, that it sounds as good as it looks...I will give you feedback Saturday night..

Wow I installed mt CP-E exhaust yesterday and I just love the sound of the exhaust...Its everything and more...The car doesn't sound ricey whatsover and if you cruise its perfect...At cruise its louder and much more throaty than stock but not annoying at all...When you WOT, wow it sounds like a Porshe or exotic car of some kind, but not to the point where it ever sound like a ricey car...Its pretty well balanced and absolutely no drone whatsover, and I stressed this when i bought the exhaust...Although its all said and done, unfortunately I had to do custom work to the muffler because of the E93 chasis and the fact that the mufflers came both setup for the right side only and didn't come with a left or right ( I guess CP-E fucked up somehow), but with a good installer it worked out to be okay...I really love the exhaust to the point where I haven't even used the radio at all for the last day and half...I do notice that the car seemed to be a little quicker from my butt dyno and I need the let the V2 adapt to the new exhaust....It took a while for me to get use to the new sound because I went from a stock exhaust which was quiet , to a exhaust that is much more pronounced...All in all I love the outcome of my CP-E exhaust...
