Central Control Unit Retrofit
Can a central control unit be retrofitted in a E90 without Navigation?
Can it be used to control a professional radio, phone, ipod, etc...? I couldn't find any results during a search. I could be searching wrong though. |

Do you mean I drive/Nav?
Do you mean I drive/Nav?
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ghlight=idrive The above would replace the pro radio off course. Next easiest thing would be a Dynavin N6. Big threads on that here . http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=122 Idrive/Nav is basically Expensive and not practical. The new ones have the options integrated into them called the NBT. There are sub forums here for specific sections of the car that are most useful http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16 http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=378 What are you trying to accomplish and what is the year and option list for your car especially with the audio section. Central Control Unit
ctuna and cdgatti I want to know if the center console wheel control can be used with professional radio to control the radio, phone, iPod, etc...
This is the unit I'm talking about. I drive a 2008 328i E90 sedan with the Bluetooth ULF & aux/usb in the center armrest. |

No you need the idrive/navi controller and screen
No you need the idrive/navi unit and screen.
Which contains the Nav/radio for the idrive setup. That is what its designed to work with. The pro radio has no remote functions. That is the idrive controller. |
