Wheel Advice

Hello,

Before I bite the bullet I'd like some advice if possible.

I want to order a set of wheels:

19" x 8.5
19" x 9.5

Can I just swap over my tyres?
Not sure what the standard wheels are.

I'm interested to see if 9.5" would fit all round? And any affects on handling?

Cheers!

Unfortunately you don't give a lot of info on your current set up so can't comment on your tyres, but you will need to know the offsets of the wheels you propose to fit as that affects how far in/out of the wheel arch the wheel will sit.

Once you know the offsets there are several sites such as www.willtheyfit.com that will give you the figures of how they sit in comparison to your current setup.

You won't get a 9.5 up front I don't think as either they will foul on the shock or be sticking out the arch. Rears depending on offset are borderline as to whether you will need to roll the arches etc. Your standard 19" tyres will fit but will be stretched on those rims so possibly consider going up a size to 235/265.

I believe the wheels I wanted are ET35.

I'm running MV4's at the moment. 255 rear 235 front.

Thanks for the help!

Mv4s are 8" and 9" if I remember correctly I went up to AG M359s which are 9" and 10" and kept my standard 225 and 255 tyres

Those tyres will fit fine. I did the same (not anymore though), will just be stretched a little.
