e90 no electrical power

Hi there, I'm posting this to share this fault with other E90 users. I have had an intermittent electrical problem over the last couple of weeks. Started with the alarm going off when I tried to lock/unlock the car, usually after a couple of mins of button pressing, the fault would clear. Thought it may be the key fob battery? However, a few days later, unlocked the car, got in, and completely dead on power. Nothing anywhere. Read one of the previous posts about the battery supply to fuse board, so banged the glovebox with fist and hey presto - power back on!!! It's done this a couple of times, and me having a fumble at the back of the glovebox, waggling the cables, works. I took the fuseboard out last night, disconnected the battery cable and inspected. looked ok, non arcing/pitting. I tightened up the electrical connection and re-assembled. So far so good, and will update in next few days. But thanks for the previous posts on this. Looks like a common fault and the advice on the site got me home.
