Flat Tire Warning. (I think)
Morning guys,
Got quite the shock this morning when this symbol popped up on my dash. Initially thought it was ABS failure or something (panic) but my friend google tells me its a flat tire warning. I hope this is correct? Can someone recommend tire pressures i should be running & how i can reset the dash warning using my stalk. I have non-idrive e90 2008 SE. Fronts : 8.5 X 19. Tyre: 225/35x19 Rears : 9.5 X 19. Tyre: 265/30x19 Thank you in advance |

That's tpms warning, means low tire pressure. Get a air pressure gauge and on the inside of the driver door jam is the recommended psi. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

When your stationary I think it lets you reset the tire pressures using the stalk. Cycle through the options until you get an option that looks like the symbol and says RESET. Then press and hold the stalk button. Do this every time you correct the pressures.

I have 19s on my car and it was recommended to me by the tyre fitter that I have 38 psi rear and 36 psi upfront. He could have just picked those numbers out of the air of course.

Not sure why Bmw did it like that really would have been better with just one long button push, it took me a couple of goes the first time I did it to work it out

2.7 bar front - 2.5 bar rear. I'm sure thats what it says on the door sticker.. It's raining so I'm not going to check.
As was said, It's very important to reset your tpms once pressures are confirmed. WM |
