BMW Service with Procede installed
Has anyone had any issues with getting their service done with Procede installed? Especially at East Bay BMW? I never had any problems servicing my modded MINI, but just wondering if BMW is any different. Thanks

Being that your engine is one of your most expensive warrantied items, do the due diligence and take it out before you go in.

if it's to change a tail light bulb leave it, if it's for fuel pump or engine ticking or something take it out.

You'll get good practice and installation and uninstallation.

well i got my fuel pump replaced with my JBS1 in and when I called up Terry he said with the stage 1, there is no way they will known unless they REALIZE that its acting wierd and open up the ECU box.
With stage 2 he said they can recognize it through software runs without opening the ECU and physically seeing it... I think that applies with the PROcede, Xede, etc chips too

ooh ok good. i thought everything got recorded to the ecu or something. when my parents were leasing the x5, they stuck the key into some machine and it listed all the places the cars been to. of course there were a couple mistakes but, most of them were true.

Too difficult to catch up... I always post... then leave for a meeting... then I'm lost again...
