Running normal tyres...
Hello,
Think I'm going to get shot of the run flats. What have people done regarding a spare? I have Tyreweld handy but nothing more trusty than a wheel and a tyre? Buy a cheap BMW centre bored wheel and a scissor jack? Cheers. |

I've been fortunate enough to never have to use it...
Put my summers back on on Thurs and got the flat warning tonight.... luckily it was just a slow puncture. Nothing can replace a proper spare. But in 18 years of driving, I have yet to need one. Proper, regular inspection and care of tyres goes a long way. WM |

I have some tyre weld and a pump in the boot for emergencies. Would be nice to have a spare but would fill the boot. Hopefully never be in the situation fingers crossed.

I bought the OEM space saver wheel/tyre and jack kit. On the basis that I could recoup some of the cost when I sell it on via ebay etc,
Ive used it twice.
