Audi A4

I've been recently looking at the new Audi A4, and I think it looks AMAZING!

I am seriously considering getting one (probably the 3.2L V6 with Quattro). Here are some pictures and specs:

Car looks great, 10x better than the e90 inside and out IMO.
I am wondering if the ride is improced or just same as the Passat...
I will be looking at the 2.0T though...

I like audis, when making my purchase decision though I just could not justify the added expense of the Audis vs the BMWs (if you consider similar performing cars, ie s4 vs 335i). The interiors are great, the exterior styling is more in line with how BMW used to be (conservative) which I think is great. I've been to their Ingolstadt Museum/factory/delivery center, and it is very nice and recommended. However, they do not give a great discount like BMW does (only 5%, and from what I gather not much wiggle room as there is in BMW - I just got my e92 for 800 over ED invoice).

Either way, can't go wrong, great cars. The new A4 uses the same underpinnings as the new A5, no?

i love it too ... but looking at the 2010 A3 kinda makes me frown... haha does not look as good as the current A3 (id prefer the A3 over the A4)

nuttin wrong with Audi....nice cars!!!
however...side by side with a 335....think the balance tilts towards BMW.

I read that it's barely any smaller than the current A6! It should be a really nice luxury sedan.

I really do like the design of this car. Personally, I think it looks best from the rear 3/4, as the taillights, faux diffuser and integrated spoiler give it a sporty yet somewhat conservative look.

The front is also nicely done, yet maybe too familiar for my sake. I think the headlight details are a bit overdone, and the lamp housings themselves could benefit being stretched a little more horizontally. The lower valance is well executed: maintains flow and looks aggressive.

I really wish BMW would start looking into making driver-oriented interiors again. This really looks good in Audis. While I'm not necessarily a fan of four-spoke steering wheels, it looks pretty good in this, but I'd rather they put in a three-spoke. The IP details themselves are nicely executed in typical Audi fashion, but I'd really much rather see this car with some two tones going on...maybe red/brown leather or something of that nature.

Btw, Pimp Star, what'd you end up doing anyways? I forgot a while ago...where you been haha.

i like it, but unfortunately it made S5/A5 much less unique and less special. I liked the unique looks of S5, but now since A4's will be filling the streets the S5 will not be any special.

Oh well... i bet the S4/RS4 will be sick though.

Yeah the new A4 will share the same B8 chassis as the A5/S5. And the whole new quattro system.

Everything on the B8 chassis should be on par with an A5/S5, so expect good results unlike its previous predecessors.

I really like the looks of the new A4 and can't wait to test drive it! The LED lights are very cool. I'm itching for a new car and I don't know if I can wait till this fall for the A4. I went to an Audi dealer a few days ago and they have a leftover 07 A4 S-line pkg selling for $7500 off. I'm sure the 08 will take a big hit once the the new body style is out.

Indeed it looks very nice, but in my opinion Audi it's just a VW with another badge. And we all know what VW means(Car Of The People). So, my advice, change the adress of your car dealer and buy a 335i. You will be stunned of what that car can do!

That's ridiculous. Do you feel the same way about lamborghinis and bentleys too?

Agreed about the interior.

Audi has had such beautiful interiors the last few years. It appears that unfortunately that trend may now be over. As far as the A4 is concerned at least.....

I don't really think that Audi interiors have ever been beautiful, but extremely functional and driver-oriented, as BMW was in prior generations. Also, audi build quality on the interior pieces is only rivaled by Honda/Acura IMHO.

Rivaled by Honda / Acura?

I don't know about that.

Have you been in a new Honda lately? I can't speak for Acura, but the quality of materials isn't what it used to be.
