bmw performance suspension vs b12 kit

Which is better for dd and spirited driving?
B12 is $870 vs bmwps $1300. Is the price bump worth it?
Both have a similar drop.

Both have a similar drop.
The PS includes a correctly engineered front anti-roll bar and new bushings, stiffer rear upper shock mounts, and BMW engineering's design skills and knowledge. Worth every cent imho. Ran it for about a year and a half, much better than the ZSP sport suspension. It's a great start.

Is the anti roll bar same as anti sway bar? If so, what's the diameter?

Yes, same thing. Diameter is 26.5mm and there's BMW Motorsport Group N bushings available for it.

I have the BMW PS suspension on my 335is, huge improvement over the ZSP.
The sway bar is the same diameter (26.5") but does not taper as much in the center as the ZSP.
I have one brand new PS sway bar for sale with bushings if anyone is interested.

This is not the m-sport suspension is it? Is that the same one dealers sell for over $2K with springs? You think it will make a huge difference with eibach springs? Like better than B12? Sorry for too many questions

There is no such thing as M-sport suspension in US market. All m-sport cars have just zsp suspension parts, including 335is.

The whole kit w/ the BMW PS springs (yellow ones) should come around $1400, not $2000 unless your dealer is trying to rip you off.

imo for the cost of bmw perf new, you are near at least one decent coilover kit (kw street comfort, check sponsors) or fully adjustable konis, yellow fronts, white rears plus your choice of springs.

Are coilovers superior to regular springs+perf shocks if one is mainly looking for ride comfort and enhanced handling with no intention of ever tracking the vehicle?

I track my car and find it handles very well with the BMW PS.
Coilovers may be better, but you'll have to rebuild them at some point. I didn't want the hassle and went OEM.

Are you still rocking the Bmw ps suspension a few years later? How are you still liking it? What made you sell the sway bar and what did you replace with?

It's the disc shaped part of the assembly, I don't have a part number. The non-PS part is basically foam rubber. I think Monroe makes a replacement and Powerflex definitely does.
