COIL PACKS - Delphi GN10328

Does anyone know if these will work for a 2009 N54 e90 335i?

Have a misfire on cylinder 4, engine shakes pretty bad and under load just gives up but only getting misfire code.

It has done this before but not as bad and I replaced sparks and the one coil on cylinder 3 and the problem was fixed.

Thanks

I don't have the means to further test/measure performance but if they should fail or degrade performance over time, i'll post.

Yeah I just bought all 6 next day shipping for $240. Had to do next day because I'm afraid to do more damage to the car. Also, I figured might as well do all 6 right now since they seem to be going out one by one.

Nothing to see here and still running strong. Although, I've heard of some coil packs rusting on N55s due to the metallic upper body of the coil pack because water may find its way inside due to the way the cowl and engine cover is designed? (or something to that effect). I'll find out at my next spark plug change.

i thought i read somewhere that bmw started using the n55/s55 coils in the n54, delphi 10571. i think it was on another forum from a bmw tech, said even if you came in and asked for the n54 coils by part number they were giving out the n55 delphi 10571.

Why spend more on the Delphi coils rather then the OEM Bosch coils?

i have used both bosch and delphi coils and both have been reliable. currently running the delphis but will probably switch back to bosch as I prefer the rubber coil body over the metal for reasons stated above.

performance wise no difference for me.

Oh you're right, I was going based on the amazon price above. I've searched and the Delphi coils can be found for like $23 each. Whereas the OEM Bosch coils are around $30 each.

eBay. They typically have the lowest prices on everything, even OEM parts.
