Vessel Otello departed Bremerhaven 1-24-08

Anyone on the otello. I figured Ide better start this thread. The ship departed yesterday I think. I just checked www.vesseltracker.com and saw it has left Bremerhaven. My dad did ED and dropped the car off 1-14-08. He is getting the 535xi. I know what he will be going through. I did ED on my 335xi. The ship docked in the US 12-24-07 and I got my car 1-14-08.

It seems to me that it's still anchored in Bremerhaven according to this site (image shows anchor on map).

i just check..i clicked on otello and it shows that its on the ocean

maybe i'm seeing a different screen. i saw an anchor in what looked like the middle of the ocean (all blue), but when i clicked a few times to pan out...it actually shows it sitting in the water just off the port of bremerhaven.

guess we'll know more as time progresses.

Im hoping the the only reason its anchored is because they are getting their rest for a the long haul back to the US.

I had compl date of 1-16 & 800 no continues to tell me as of today mine is awaiting ship....when I put my partial VIN in it doesn't show record of...so I don't know when I'll get out of port unless its just not telling me anything...

I just called my dealership and he confirmed that my car will arrive at the port on the 7th of Feb so that means my car is on Otello. Call up your SA and ask them. They will be able to give you a definitive answer.

Im hoping my dad doesnt have the same luck I had when I did my ED. My ship arrived on Dec 24 and I got my car Jan 14. Hopefully he gets his car quicker than me.

I just found out that mine is as well !

It's due to arrive at the port in NY on 2/7.

Cool. What is interesting is that my CA said that the port of entry for my car will be NJ/NY. We live 39 miles from Baltimore. I guess BMW doesn't unload any of its cars at the Baltimore port!
