Hella headlight = OEM ?

I may need to replace a headlight and see Turner has a new headlight for $700. (E92)

http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-18...e93-07-11.aspx

I've never heard that Hella makes our headlights. My question is this headlight OEM?

Valeo is the oem part. Look for a used one here or ebay, much cheaper.

E92/E93 and M3 lights are made by AL. E90/E91 xenon lights are made by ZKW. E90/E91 halogen lights are made by Valeo.

AL Lighting is also the RAS syndrome-esque name of "Automotive Lighting Lighting". ZKW, as trivia, is Zizala Karl Wein. Now, could we start calling our cars Bayerische Motoren Werke? J/K

Not exactly true - eu preLCI xenons are Marelli, preLCI halogens can be both ZKW or VALEO, LCI xenons can be VALEO, Marelli or AL.
