Had a rear ender yesterday. Called the dealer today and they told me the only "BMW Approved" body shop in San Diego is Philip Thearles AutoWerks on Mission Gorge road.

Is this really true and does anyone have feedback on this body shop.

Brecth BMW in Escondido has their own body shop, they painted mt M-tech kit and the paint matches perfectly.

Check out Superior Auto Body in Chula Vista. They work on a lot of European cars and are about as good as it gets. The owner has some nice BMW's

Phil Thearles is about the only place i feel comfortable taking my euro cars. their facility is outstanding, and they do top notch work. i would only use them if going through insurance though, cause they are expensive.
